History

Big Air Repair-Swansea was borne out of Giles Hulm's "Big Air Repairs" retirement. Giles went to great lengths to support me during the change over, and whilst purchasing his machines and stock. I'm a lifelong sailor, windsurfer and new to wing foiling. After a career as a sailing coach which included working on sails and with sailmakers, I'm happy to be more hands on and confident repairing sails.

Sail Repair Expertise

I have experience in repairing sails for both sailboats and windsurfing equipment. I repair kite/wing canopies, leading edges and struts.

Fast Turnaround

I understand the importance of getting back on the water quickly. That's why I can offer fast turnaround times for all repair services.

Collection and return

Travelling regularly through South Wales I am able to collect and return to convenient locations on the M4 covering from Bristol to Pembrokeshire. I can arrange for kit to be dropped off at Pura Vida, Penarth to assist in this process. Postage can also be organised.

Ready to work on

Please deliver sails ready to go on the sewing machines. To stick and stitch sails they need to be clean, dry and sand free. If you would like your sail cleaning, I can do it for an additional charge, and please allow some extra time to allow for good drying conditions.
